Oil Seal:
The oil seal is a seal used to seal the rotating shaft of the mechanical equipment, and the cavity is basically static, so the oil seal is also called the rotating shaft lip seal.
In the friction part of the machine, since the medium enters when the machine is running, in order to prevent the medium from leaking from the gap of the machine, and also to prevent the intrusion of foreign matter from the outside, an oil seal is used.
The sealing state of the oil seal ring is divided into two types:
1. There is a static seal between the outer edge of the oil seal and the cavity, while ensuring the reliable positioning of the outer edge of the oil seal between the cavity;
2. The sealing state between the sealing lip of the oil seal sealing ring and the shaft is dynamic close sealing when the shaft is rotating, and static sealing when the shaft is stationary;
The combined effect and interaction of various influencing factors will have a great impact on the sealing performance and service life of the oil seal.
