This is the difference in the fundamentally different roles of seal kits and seals.
2. Seal kit:
(1) Seal kit is the customary name for general seals, which is simply the seal of lubricating oil. seal kits are generally divided into single type and assembly type. The assembly type is that the skeleton and lip materials can be freely combined, and is generally used for special seal kits.
(2) The representative form of seal kit is TC seal kit, which is a double-lip seal kit with self-tightening spring completely covered by rubber. Generally speaking, seal kit often refers to this tc skeleton seal kit.
(3) Commonly used materials for seal kits are: nitrile rubber, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber, acrylic rubber, polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. When selecting the material of the seal kit, it is necessary to consider the compatibility of the material with the working medium, the adaptability to the working temperature range, and the ability of the lip to follow the rotation axis at high speed. Generally, the temperature of the lip of the seal kit is higher than the temperature of the working medium by 20 to 50 ° C. Care should be taken when selecting the seal kit material. The working range of the seal kit is related to the materials used for the seal kit: when the material is nitrile rubber (NBR), it is -40 ~ 120 ° C, acrylic rubber (ACM) -30 ~ 180 ° C, fluorine rubber (FPM) -25 ~ 300 ° C.
