Mechanical Seal HBY Hydraulic Seals Rod Buffer Seal
Hydraulic rod buffer seal ring HBY is used together with rod seal. In this way it can improve seal durability because after absorbing shock and wave in high load capacity it can be isolated from high temperature fluid. HBY has a special-shaped slot on the sliding lip that can relieve back pressure to eliminate the pressure between the piston rod seal and the buffer ring.
Rod Buffer Seals:
The primary purpose of the buffer seal is to protect the main rod seal from the effects of shock pressure loading. It is important that the buffer seal allows adequate lubriC.A.Tion of the main seal and does not cause a pressure trap between itself and the main seal.
